Working With Our Community
We have established strong ties with one of our local care homes, Silvanna Court. For Christmas 2020, we collected donations of biscuits, cakes and chocolates for the care home residents. These cards and gifts brought some much needed Christmas joy to all the residents as you can see from the cards we received below.
The residents have also joined us on one of our school assembly zoom calls where the children, staff and residents all enjoyed seeing each other and singing some songs together.
This year we are planning to start a pen pal project, with each class writing letters to the residents and waiting for their replies....we hope one day to be able to all meet face to face!
As a school we like to give back to the community in any way we can. Each year we collect food donations to give to the local food bank. We hope this goes some way to helping local families in need.

Thank you to everybody who donated food and supplies to our food bank this year. We are as always overwhelmed with your generosity and we are sure the families in Wickford that will benefit from this would like to thank you too.
Christmas Card Recycling Scheme
This year we took part in a scheme to recycle Christmas cards as part of the TLM Environmental Christmas Card Recycling Scheme. We receycled 5kg of cards which will all help to look after our environment! Well done to all of the families who took part!
